Jordan Gross

General Manager

Jordan Gross joined Norwood in 2014, moving up through the company’s training program. Before that, he spent 10 years in franchising and startups. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Winnipeg, including two years of study in the U.S. Outside of work, he enjoys life with his wife and five kids, spending time fishing, playing sports, and working on the family farm. Jordan is proud to be part of a world-class team and loves solving problems

Joey Sleno

Sales Manager

Joey has been in the industry for over 20 years, joining Norwood in April 2007 as an account manager. With a deep commitment to customer service, he takes pride in anticipating his clients’ needs before they even realize them. A devoted father to two daughters, who have him wrapped around their fingers, Joey enjoys unwinding with his favorite pastime—Ultimate Fighting Championship. Golfing is another passion, and no matter the weather, he spends time at his trailer, surrounded by family and friends.

Colleen Schmidt

Operations Manager

Colleen has dedicated over 34 years to branch operations and systems processes in the electrical and waterworks distribution industries. As the only female in the office, she jokingly takes on the role of keeping the guys in line. Married in 2005 on the beaches of Mexico, she and her husband make it a tradition to return each year. When not at work, she treasures time with her two grandsons and enjoys weekends at their family cabin on Moyie Lake in British Columbia.

Scott Wintemute

Outside Account Manager

Scott became part of the Norwood team in February 2014 after completing his Bachelor of Commerce degree in 2012. Bringing his business acumen to his role as an account manager, he is always looking for ways to grow. A snowboarding enthusiast and dedicated movie buff, he has a particular love for horror and comedy films. When asked about his long-term goals, Scott humorously states his ambition: to take over Keith’s job and send him into early retirement.

 

Cord Peers

Project Manager

Cord was born and raised in Calgary and joined Norwood in January 2014. Beginning his journey in the warehouse, he quickly transitioned into project management, where he applies his extensive knowledge of waterworks. Known for his strong commitment to customer service, Cord takes pride in delivering quality solutions. Outside of work, he enjoys hockey, hunting, fishing, and perfecting his golf game.

Tyrell Scott

Project Manager

Tyrell Scott is a dynamic professional with over a decade of experience in sales and retail operations. Originally from Calgary, Alberta, he also spent time living on Vancouver Island, broadening his experiences. With a keen interest in the latest food trends, he is always on the lookout for new culinary discoveries. In his downtime, Tyrell enjoys playing music and golfing with family and friends.

Aaron Noel

Customer Service Specialist

Aaron is a born and raised Calgarian and joined the Norwood team in 2017. Aaron has been in various customer service roles for over a decade bringing with him a wealth of knowledge and experience. He is eagerly learning the ropes and inner workings of the waterworks industry. In his spare time you’ll find Aaron in the kitchen, at the local dog parks with his rescue dog Bourbon, or vacationing around the world.

Kevin Stach

Project Manager

Kevin is a business school graduate who joined Norwood in July 2018 as part of a project management program. Born and raised in Calgary, he grew up immersed in the world of hockey and remains a dedicated Montreal Canadiens fan. When he’s not working, Kevin can be found hiking, fishing, or spending time with family and friends. A firm believer that anything is possible with a coffee in hand, he brings a positive and energetic approach to everything he does.

Kyle Morsette

Strategic Development Trainee

Kyle Morsette began his career as a heavy equipment technician, spending eight years mastering the trade before transitioning to project management. In 2021, he pursued a Business Administration Diploma at SAIT to refine his leadership and management skills. Now at Norwood, he is focused on becoming a top-tier project manager. Beyond work, Kyle enjoys married life, continuous learning, and tackling new challenges that push him toward professional growth.

Tim Johnston

Business Development

Tim is a mechanical engineer with 20 years of experience in waterworks and trenchless technology, working with both manufacturers and contractors. Originally from Halifax, he now calls Southern Alberta home and is diving into distribution with Norwood. A solutions-driven thinker, Tim thrives on technical problem-solving and building lasting business partnerships. Outside of work, he enjoys skiing, hiking, camping, and practicing martial arts, where he has spent 15 years teaching and sharing his expertise.

Brandon McKnight

Material Handler

Brandon McKnight has been with Norwood since 2023 as a Material Handler and Forklift Operator, ensuring efficient equipment and tool maintenance. Passionate about hands-on work, he thrives in fast-paced environments. Outside of work, he enjoys producing music, camping, hiking, and fishing, embracing the outdoors whenever possible.

Lee Northrup

Material Handler

Lee moved from Ottawa to Calgary in 2008 and never looked back. With 17 years in customer service, he takes pride in providing top-notch support. Adaptable and personable, he enjoys off-roading with his son at McLean Creek, glamping in Fort Macleod, and spending quality time with family.

Peter Piotrowski

Warehouse Manager

Peter was born in Poland, grew up in Mississauga, and moved to Calgary in 2012. A keen strategist, he enjoys analyzing business needs and optimizing solutions. Outside of work, he loves gardening with his wife, planning family travels, and ensuring a balanced approach to work and life.

Mitch McKeown

Procurement Manager

Mitchell McKeown joined Norwood in 2021 with a BComm in Supply Chain Management and four years of waterworks experience. Passionate about product knowledge, he enjoys music, movies, camping, hiking, skiing, and outdoor hockey.

Jeff Scheuerman

Material Handler

Born and raised in Calgary, Jeff has built a 20-year career in warehouse operations, gaining extensive experience with a wide range of power equipment. He also holds a Class 3 license with air brake certification and spent two years driving flat deck picker and Moffett trucks. Jeff is passionate about family life and loves spending time with his wife of 15 years and their three children. Whether gardening, camping, or hiking, he’s always looking for his next outdoor adventure.

Jude Spackman

Material Handler

Currently studying mathematics at university, Jude joins the Norwood team for the summer with a strong appetite for learning and a globally informed outlook. Having lived in Canada, the U.S., England, and Romania, he brings a diverse perspective and an eagerness to grow. Jude thrives in social settings and is quick to adapt to new environments. When not working or hitting the gym, you’ll find him on the rugby field, exploring the mountains, or spending time with family and his dog.

Sherri Suderman

Driver

With over 20 years of combined experience in warehousing and customer service, Sherri Suderman is known for her strong work ethic, adaptability, and reliability. After two decades in Edmonton, she made Calgary her home in 2014 and has been a key support both in the warehouse and in customer-facing roles ever since. Whether coordinating logistics or assisting clients, Sherri brings consistency and care to every task. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, staying active at the gym, and taking long walks to unwind.

Bryce Gernhard

Warehouse Specialist

With over a decade of experience in warehousing and logistics, Bryce is known for his hands-on expertise and attention to detail. A Calgary native, he studied Heavy Duty Mechanics and Cabinet Making at SAIT, bringing together technical skill and craftsmanship. Outside of work, Bryce enjoys restoring furniture, working on cars, and taking on creative projects like leatherwork and upholstery. In his spare time, you’ll find him snowboarding, biking, or immersed in his latest art piece.

Brody Marko

Material Handler

Born and raised in Calgary, Brody returned to his hometown after spending several years in Ontario and BC to begin his career in the supply industry with Norwood Waterworks. He brings a background in retail, a passion for forklift operations, and a natural flair for organization. Since joining the team in April 2025, he’s been eager to learn and contribute. Outside of work, Brody enjoys digital art, painting miniatures, and playing tabletop games with friends.

Chris Thoresen

Strategic Development Trainee

Chris brings a diverse background to the team, having worked as a chef, an operations specialist at Shopify, and a touring musician for over a decade. His varied experience has shaped a strong sense of adaptability, problem-solving, and creativity. In his spare time, Chris continues to tour both locally, and internationally – including recent tours in Japan.
